to a September 1961 beef field day with Hale and Greene counties, sponsored by
the Alabama Hereford Cattlemen’s Association. Pictured around the demonstration
animal are Wilbur Whitten, Charlie Farquhar, Oscar Braun, W.P. Breen and L.
Chatterton. Breen, the owner of this fine bull, was also the field day
committee chair at the time. He hosted a successful event with over 40
cattlemen who saw over 2500 head of Hereford cattle.
