Great County Chapter Fundraiser
The Lowndes County Cattlemen's Association recently held a fundraiser in Hope Hull to raise money for the county's scholarship fund. Board members organized a barrel racing and team roping with participants coming from around the region to compete for trophy buckles and cash awards. Looks like everyone had a good time! The music went well with the photos. Garth Brooks' "Rodeo" would have worked,too. Do you know how much they made? We have lots of team ropers, a quite a few Canchasers, around our parts. This might be something we look at doing in the future.
